Dr. Ron Kosinski
Dr. Ron Kosinski, board-certified pediatric dentist and anesthesiologist, brings more than 30 years of experience in the field of pediatric dentistry to ADR Dental. He served as the President of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and maintains a faculty appointment as Clinical Associate Professor for the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry.
At NYU, Dr. Ron was named Clinical Director of the Oral Health Center for People with Disabilities in 2018. In this role, he was instrumental in the design and program implementation of the new Center aimed at providing and expanding access to oral health care for patients who have been denied treatment as a result of their intellectual, cognitive and physical impairments.
Prior to NYU, Dr. Ron was the Chief of Pediatric Dental Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center now known as the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY.
Committed to helping children keep their smiles healthy, he continues his education and research in the field of pediatric dentistry. Dr. Kosinski has published several articles, including in consumer and peer-reviewed publications. He has made presentations at ~20 dental and medical conferences and he has served as a pediatric dentistry expert for NBC News Channel 4 in New York.
Dr. Ron has maintained a private practice for roughly thirty years as both a pediatric dentist and an anesthesiologist. Dr. Ron loves what he does and is excited to work with Dr. Sabiya as they share a passion for those requiring dedicated and specialized care and attention.
Dr. Kosinski has received his training as an attending physician through the Pediatric Residency Training Program at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY and the Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Fairfield University and a Doctorate of Dentistry degree from the Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry. He was also previously part of the L.I. Jewish Medical Center-Schneider Children’s Hospital Cleft/Craniofacial Team.
